MY GLEF JOURNEY

Amongst the many lessons I learned during these past few months of being an active member of GLEF, two stood out for me:

Nobody can do life alone.
You can be excellent professionally and spiritually too.

These lessons were carved in my heart during my favorite memory of GLEF (the four-week scriptural program)

I have my reasons for holding these two life lessons close to heart. Firstly, coming from a place where it is believed that professional growth and excellence had nothing to do with your Christian background over these years, I have prayed to God to help me become a living proof that one can achieve great heights in his or her career and still live out God’s purpose for their life, I can confidently say God brought GLEF my way as an answer to this prayer of mine. I have always believed in becoming a BALANCED Christian, striving for excellence in every area of my life and GLEF has proven to me that it is possible.

My journey here has been nothing short of TRANSFORMATIONAL.

While I am still very much in the learning process, I want to acknowledge the fact that I have had a major paradigm shift and experienced personal growth by being a part of this movement. From learning deep principles on how we can incorporate excellence into our daily lives to how we can use our skills and expertise to the glory of God, it has just been an amazing journey for me.

I will ever be grateful to God for the CEO. Prior to now, I’ve been privileged to be under few leadership authorities and I can boldly say the leadership style of our founder is one of the best I have seen out there.

I love how he is so particular about our growth as a team.

Ever since I came in contact with him, I have learned so much that has helped and will continue to help me in different areas of my life.

Thank you, Sir for being a blessing and a huge inspiration to us.

Joining GLEF has undoubtedly been one of the defining highlights of my year in 2024. Being part of a community that wholeheartedly supports both your personal development and spiritual journey is a gift I would never trade for anything. The experiences I am gaining and the connections I am making here are invaluable, and I look forward to what the future holds as I continue to grow alongside this incredible organization.

Vision Without Clarity on Execution will Actually not be a Reality

JOURNEY TO IMPACT

It’s a journey cause it keeps getting better day-by-day!

I’ve always had this desire and burden to make impact and reflect Jesus in all I do.

Not just to be a Christian but an Ambassador of Christ reflecting him in all sphere

Even though I may be doing it in my little way but my encounter with GLEF made the vision/picture more clear and possible because; “Vision without Clarity on execution will actually not be a reality”.

Sincerely, Meeting The CEO, Mr. Emeka gave me more clarity. God used him to give the understanding that it’s possible to be professionally and Spiritually Sound.

At first, I thought that GLEF was about coming to serve but now I know, it’s about coming to be Impacted, challenged, refined and then, sent out to make Impact.

Even in my profession, I’ve been challenged daily, to top up my effort and become more proficient in the game and I believe the future will be glorious.

The CEO is an epitome of Wisdom; when you hear him speak, his words communicates his personality.

With GLEF, I Learnt that Serving Could Be More Than Just Serving

When I joined the GLEF, it was to serve.

I have always loved to serve, and I have done it countless times. But with GLEF, it is different.

With GLEF, I learnt that serving could be more than just serving.

Even, serving is just a fraction of a larger part of empowerment.

While serving here in GLEF, I have been inspired by the CEO – Mr Emeka Onyejizu. I have been challenged, too – challenged to make more impact and meaning.

Most importantly, I have learnt that it is possible to excel in all spheres of life – professionally and spiritually. This is not in line with my default knowledge that it’s almost impossible to excel in both areas. And so far, we’ve been about that.

GLEF Has Completely Reshaped How I See Life

One of the greatest blessings God has given me is GLEF.

I can hardly express how grateful I am to God for bringing this amazing foundation into my life. It has been a journey of continuous insight, transformation, and empowerment.

GLEF has completely reshaped how I see life. I now view the world through the lens of God’s purpose for us—to fulfil His will wherever we find ourselves and to excel in all that we commit to doing.

I am deeply thankful to the founder, Emeka Onyejizu, for the privilege to serve in this capacity. The lessons, opportunities, and invaluable knowledge I’ve gained have been life-changing.

This experience has fueled my resolve to use my refined skills, talents, and abilities to serve God and fulfil His purpose wherever I go.

I have come to understand that true impact and influence cannot be complete without the God-factor. My goal is to create a well-rounded balance in every area of my life—spiritually, physically, academically, financially, and beyond.

I pray that God helps me to continue on this path. GLEF is indeed a divine blessing, and I am honoured to be a part of it.

How GLEF Gave Me a New Purpose

GLEF changed my life for good. As a professional, I was just doing my job because it has to be done. But GLEF helped me find my purpose and passion for not just being successful, but using my success to advance God’s kingdom in the marketplace.

Now, I’m not just a professional, I’m an influencer for Christ. I can share my faith and inspire others. GLEF gave me the confidence and skills to make a difference. I’m super grateful and thankful for GLEF’s impact on my life.

GLEF Turned my Life Around

It’s been over a month since I willingly decided to join the GLEF team, even though I was unsure of what the future holds for me here.

Now, as I reminisce through my journey so far, i observed the massive change in my personal, professional and spiritual life.

I have become more intentional in doing things so that they are delivered excellently and not just mediocre.

I allowed myself to be stretched, because I believe it will help me find out more about my strengths and weaknesses.

And honestly, I am becoming a better person who is fully conscious of the fact that I am not just a teacher or a professional in my field, but that I am a Light that Illuminates lives —an apostle in the marketplace.

I owe my thanks to the CEO, Mr. Emeka Onyejizu, who never ceases to remind us of who we are—influential leaders who embody excellence to advance God’s kingdom.

I deeply appreciate him for always supporting our goals and giving us listening ears whenever we reach out to him.

Taking The Steps In The Blurry Woods

My journey so far in GLEF has been nothing short of AMAZING!

Deciding to be part of this great move is like taking that baby step that wasn’t certain. The fears sat kingly in my heart, but I knew this was the turning point for me.

Building on the resilience spirit, It has been so glaring to me and those around me that something different affected me positively.

Part of my breakthrough came from learning how to address people properly and truly, I learnt that from the CEO, Mr. Emeka Onyejizu, who would never judge or tell you upfront how bad or good you did this or that.

In learning and following, you don’t just watch, you also become.

I learnt taking responsibility as a leader, serving others and being intentional. This process is in progress, which I’m not backing out anytime soon.

A true and compassionate Leader doesn’t only do things that works for him, but puts his team first.

In wanting me grow, the push came as a challenge which I embraced, because I knew this is something good that won’t just benefit me but will keep others directed in light if I get it right.

I have known the path of excellence which abhors settling for less. I have also become more conscious of necessities and living an impactful life.

As a work in progress, I am not where I used to be. That weak baby steps of uncertainty is becoming stronger, clearer and more daring.We don’t become all of it in a day, but the light keeps getting brighter as we choose to stay on the path of being stretched and harnessed.

Knowing the founder of GLEF is finding myself. Beyond being the CEO, he has played a huge fatherly role I can’t ignore in my life. It is a very rare privilege to be part of this Great move. The impact is positively contagious, I must say.

I’m glad that GERALD LEGACY EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION has come to redefine excellence by merging the spiritual and professional gap to suit humanity.

Gerald Legacy Empowerment Foundation is a Place I Call Home

I’ve always been curious as to the reason we barely have platforms that focuses on mentorship for Spiritual and Professional growth.

But, with about 2 months of joining GLEF, I can not just tell but see the rapid growth I’m experiencing.

I joined GLEF with the mindset to serve only for me to be served, obviously it is more than I bargained for.

Right from my first meeting with the CEO, I felt this inner peace because I found a place to call home.

A place where mentorship is the order of the day with SPIRITUALITY, EXCELLENCE and INFLUENCE in the professional world.

Every week of meeting has been a constant reminder of building value with Excellence and Influence in the marketplace to advance the Kingdom of God.

It truly has been a season of growth for me.

My favourite GLEF memory was a particular meeting we had – Empowered to redeem time. It felt like the CEO knew exactly what was going through my mind.

I was almost tempted to ask if the HolySpirit exposed me to him.

He spoke about time management and using time to redeem time.

So, I began to realise the things I was doing wrongly and that marked the turning point in the right direction.

My life experienced a shift after that meeting.

I started implementing the lessons from our meetings and the results have been mind-blowing.

Sir Emeka Onyejizu has been a source of blessing to me in several ways, even financially.

The times he gifted us as winners from the Bible jeopardy were times I was trusting God for a miracle.

I also remember reaching out to him with questions as regards my brand, he literally gave me a seminar talk on a call session which I made sure I jotted down.

It Really Has Been Impactful, Redirecting Here In Glef

And when I say that, I mean business doesn’t amount productivity. Thus, I’ve since then live with that consciousness of not wasting my Time and Life!

I now walk towards being the best I could ever be, not yielding to the cold hands of excuse, I’ve learnt to be intentional in whatever is committed into my hands.

Encountering Glef Finally Answered The Burning Question I've Had For A Couple Of Years Now

I’ve always wondered why some believers in Christ find it difficult to see both their spiritual and professional life as one. Hence, they succeed in one and lag behind in the other.

My Excitement In Knowing The Person Of Mr Emeka Onyejizu And Being Part Of Glef Knows No Bounds

One powerful key to consistent growth is consistent motivation. This is what I get after our meetings. And when I listen to the CEO of GLEF, I get a stirring within, a stirring towards a unique and perfect direction.

When I look at GLEF, I see the vision of a man who has aligned himself with the purposes of God. And this strengthens my conviction in following the path of submission to Divine inclination.
